International Fabrication & Procurement

Utilising a modern base in Western China, Vertex provides a complete international fabrication and procurement service for large engineering projects. Western China is emerging as the new world centre for low-cost and high-quality manufacturing and technology. The Chinese office of Vertex Engineering serves primarily as an intermediary for projects in which Vertex sub-contracts the supply, fabrication and/or assembly of components to one or more of its partner organisations in China.

Vertex Engineering Design is not a sourcing company in China. Clients deal with in-house engineers from Vertex to design solutions and then, where appropriate, international fabrication and procurement are jointly considered as cost-and time-saving measures. Vertex Engineering Design has developed strong relationships with only the largest and best organisations in China to be able to apply its own Quality Management System and warranties to equipment sourced internationally. All partner companies are required to have documented proof of implemented quality control and certification programs to meet specific project requirements; and items fabricated or sourced from within China are thoroughly checked and tested by Vertex staff prior to leaving the country.

Vertex Engineering Design offers international fabrication and procurement of the following:

• Handling equipment eg. screw conveyors, belt conveyors, feeders, chain conveyors
• Crushing equipment eg. ball mills, hammer mills
• Certified renewable energy equipment eg. large wind generators, solar panels
• General steel fabrication and assembly
• Australian-Standard certified mild and stainless steel pipes and flanges
